  • if you feel pressured into commiting to somehing walk away! in my former life as a nurse i'm VERY cautious about chiro therapy, some times it does way more harm than good so be careful !

    and a lot of them are quacks, recommending you come every other day for the rest of your life LOL that doesn't sound like much of a course of treatment to me, more like a massage or a facial -- feels good for a while but no long-lasting effects!

    be careful and research the guy!
  • My chiro took x-rays to make sure there wasn't any structural damage to my spine - he didn't want to do any manipulations that could make an underlying cause worse.

    If they're pushy and you don't like it, find another doctor.

    And no, you're not too young to go - even if all of the pain *is* from your weight, you shouldn't have to live in pain until you reach your goal weight. That actually hit a bit of a nerve for me, so I apologize in advance if I sound harsh, but you wouldn't ignore pain NOT associated with weight, so someone telling you to essentially deal with pain until you're thinner is insulting to me.
