Default Stress NON-eaters!

I wondered if there are others! When things are crazy stressful, I can't eat for the life of me!!!

I got a fancy new computer on Tuesday, and I've been up late every night trying to fix a problem with file-sharing, and tues/wed/thurs nights i had a bowl of vector cereal for dinner and only that because i thought i should eat SOMEHING!! stress freaks me out (i'm not used to it!) and upsets my stomach!

However, in a weird way i'm looking at it as a little diet bonus - my pants are loosey goosey today LOL and i'm not going to eat more to make up for those lost day!

Wow Trazey! You are in ONEDERLAND too!

Mild to major stress all gives me the same result: I want to eat.

But, hey. Enjoy it. I think it's a lot more "normal" to be like that.

Stress completely kills my appetite, too. I can't even think about food when I'm stressed or upset. It's when I'm happy that I eat the most. When my boyfriend of eight years and I broke up, I lost almost 50 lbs in less than two months. All because I couldn't bring myself to eat any more. After that I gained all the weight back when my depression lifted a little and I started gaining back an interest in food again.

MAJOR stress kills my appetite, but it has to be something really, really big. Fortunately, those don't happen too often, but when I can't eat at all, I try to get in some liquid calories - for example, chicken broth and instant breakfast (I like it warmed up) are things I can sip and at least get in some fluids with a bit of nutritional value.

yep, stress makes me absolutely lose my appetite, too. When I broke up with my ex, I couldn't eat solid food for a month and a half. I didn't lose any weight though, because my friend's consolidated me by taking me out drinking.

I also lose my appetite completely when I get my TOM. On Tuesday, I ate a breakfast of cereal and half a grapefruit, and around 11 I started. I threw up all my breakfast and a bunch of bile, and couldn't eat until Wednesday afternoon. This is "normal" for me, but I only get my TOM once every 3 months.

Good to know Im not the only one either! Im the same way, stress makes me lose my appetite completely and I have to remind myself to eat or even make myself.
I've found though, that a smoothie is something I never have a problem with, I can add some protein powder to it if I need to, and I can sip away at it for a while. Works well for me. It's fantastic that my work has a Booster Juice across the street, great for the days we are short staffed and im covering 2 positions.

In four days I ate 3000 calories this week.
First 3 days were around 500 each, then a normal 1500 day.
I need to get my *** in gear
