I dropped some weight in 2009 and then kind of goofed off - then started again earnestly in October, so if you don't mind I am going to use that as my start date. I am committed to trying to drop the remainder (or as much as I can) in 2010.

The funniest thing I've noticed about the difference between men and women is that women see every ounce on their body. They gain 3 pounds and become obsessed with losing those pounds. Guys weigh 175 and then one day - years later - get on the scale and it says 311 and they think "Holy crap, who snuck in last night while I was asleep and packed 136 pounds on my frame?"
