I have really wide feet. A long time ago when I was still living at home and borrowing my mom's shoes, she lost a lot of weight and accused me of stretching her shoes. I am glad that later she told me it was probably due to weight loss and not my fault. I felt bad.

Yup - my 8 1/2 shoes are alll too big. I am down a 1/2 size - mostly I think it's the width rather than the length. I had to buy a bit bigger so they would fit width wise.

Considering my feet grew with each pregnancy, I wouldn't be surprised if they shrink when I lose the weight. Unfortunately that puts me back in a AAAA for width! :( I was so exited to be almost able to wear a regular old off the rack shoe. That has been the only blessing about gaining weight. Of course, with that also came plantar fasciitis. I have finicky feet.

I am already having this problem. I haven't replaced all my shoes yet, I'm just tying them tighter. I was in 6s and 6.5s when I started, the one new pair I bought are a 5.5 and I'm not quite half way to goal. I'm terrified of what my feet might be like when I get to goal.
Thistoo - I'm with you on the frustration at the lack of selection because of my feet being small. For tennis shoes and stuff you can try the girls department. |
I hope my feet get littler! I'm a size 11 now, lol!
