Talking MY strange nsv...

my hands.

They are TEENY TINY!

Like boney, sticking out wrist knobs... spindly.

My ring finger USED to be a tight tight size 8... and now it's under a 5! Wow! My oldest girl went to the dentist today and the little kids dentist ring was too big for me!

I can't WAIT for the rest of my body to catch up... and wonder as well... how much teenier can my hands get! lol!!!

Congrats!

Isn't it amazing how we forget how tiny our bodies are without the padding we put on them?

I never realized I had shoulders, a collar bone, knees, and many other body parts..... it is great.

Btw, I saw one of your other posts--- you better believe there is a place waiting for you in Onderland....... I bet it will be taken by you before January 1, 2010 (no pressure).

Even though I'm just beginning and have only lost 17lbs my watch band is sliding around on my arm. I thought my watch was coming off a couple of days ago and realized my wrist had shrunk.

I found that my wedding rings fit perfectly now (yay). I'm sure eventually I'll have to have it sized down.

That's awesome! I've always had relatively chubby fingers, or at least I have for as long as I can remember.

I recently noticed that my high school class ring falls off me now, even though I've gotten down to the same weight I was back then. I always wore it on my ring finger and it's a size ten.

I got a nice ring a few years back at a size nine. It was rather tight on me, and the lady behind the counter insisted that I send it in to get it resized. I refused and let it pinch my finger slightly. I'm so glad I held it as-is; now it's loose enough to shake around on my finger!

I'm guessing I'll eventually get down to a size seven or so before I'm through.

Seriously... I need to find a place where I can buy those things you can put onto rings rather than getting them resized! I have a lot of faux jewelry rings that just would be pointless to get resized but I still love! They're way too loose now though....

Coolness time for some jewelry for you!

I bought a few handmade rings as I lost weight just as a motivator. Mine went from like a 9 to a 6.5 or so. I'll never have tiny hands though I got big bones!

That's awesome!! I can't wait til my ring sizes shrink even more. My ring finger was at a 10!! Yikes! Now it's at a 9 or 8 depending on the ring, but I think I might fit a few of my 7s now because I keep having to move my rings over to the next biggest finger! I definitely will have to get my claddaugh ring resized, I'm afraid of losing it now!

That's wonderful. Just wonderful

I remember (and will most likely never forget) when my ring actually fell right off my hand. I couldn't believe it. It floored me. I even remember starting a thread here about it. I also remember saying "why oh why couldn't my underwear fall off instead?"

It's things like this cfmama, that make this journey so thrilling and exciting and FUN. I had such a blast losing the weight. And this was one of the things that made it so.

Congrats. Oh and I'd be careful about wearing any loose undies and a skirt in your near future.

Very cool! My hands aren't teeny-tiny, that's just not my structure...however they have gotten considerably smaller. I've been wearing a guard in my wedding band for month and month....ever since the day I went to point at something at work and my rings flew across the room.

That's great! Do you find yourself looking at them and marveling at their new and improved appearance?

I can't imagine what my hands even look like 'normal' sized. I can fit my wedding ring on my middle finger now, though!

starfishkitty, they have ring snuggies at walmart that come in a box with different sizes. I am going to have to get myself some soon, I think.

I have always had chubby fingers, even as a normally sized woman, but I LOVE the loosening of my ring! I don't think they'll ever get knobby, but one can hope I have wristbones some day
