Kids say the funniest things!
 

So my friend was here for lunch yesterday with her little girls and I made homemade marinara sauce with my garden tomatoes. I cooked up some spaghetti squash and roasted some veggies to put the sauce on. I also boiled some macaroni in case the girls didn't like the squash.

The four year old says, "what's that?" and I explain it's squash but it's really good with sauce "like spaghetti". Then she points at the macaroni and says"what's that?" and I told her it was just regular macaroni. She tried a little bit of the spaghetti squash and says, "Man am I glad you didn't grow any macaroni squash!":lol::lol:

aw that's soo cute. Spaghetti squash is soo delicious though.

It reminds me of a very long ago Weight Watchers story. A mom didn't allow her children to say the word 'fat'. She told them that the word chubby was a nicer way to say fat. In the true style of a child....one day her daughter asked her the cut the 'chubby' of her meat, please.
