So my friend was here for lunch yesterday with her little girls and I made homemade marinara sauce with my garden tomatoes. I cooked up some spaghetti squash and roasted some veggies to put the sauce on. I also boiled some macaroni in case the girls didn't like the squash.
The four year old says, "what's that?" and I explain it's squash but it's really good with sauce "like spaghetti". Then she points at the macaroni and says"what's that?" and I told her it was just regular macaroni. She tried a little bit of the spaghetti squash and says, "Man am I glad you didn't grow any macaroni squash!"
Kids say the funniest things!
