  • Taking a break from the scale can be very good. I did it and I am more sane (in the scale area at least) now.
  • I think you ladies are right in saying that waiting til November is too long. That being said, I know I can't weigh myself daily or weekly. I am thinking monthly is the best bet for me. I have no problem with staying on plan as far as food and exercise. At some points I even crave exercise, and coming from me that is just bizarre. I truly view it as a way of life, not a diet now. Thanks for all the imput.
  • What I wrote was just my opinion based on what has happened to MY body during my almost year of weight loss and having lost almost 150 lbs. I will go back and edit as I am clearly wrong.

    Well, wrong or not, I used to do the same thing...get up in the AM, go to the bathroom, step on the scales...

    It just "felt" right, KWIM? Orderly, maybe?
