had my annual physical with the tiny little blond PCP [the one who wears a size two and is always in 4-inch heels and wears a rat in her hair to make herself taller]...

and, I'VE LOST 4 MORE POUNDS SINCE LAST WEEK!!!

since i started walking two weeks ago, i've lost a total of 9 pounds.

and that brings my totals to: oh drat. have to get the calculator.. brb..

219 total lost since aug/sept 2001
122 lost since the surgery on january 29, 2002
39 lost since my last visit with the surgeon on april 20, and my next appt with him is tomorrow.. do you think i can lose another pound by then???

and i'm so glad you let me hang out here with you!!! I get so much information and inspiration from each and every one of you. not to mention humor!!!

as for the before and after pics, there really aren't any. the obesity center has one taken a week before surgery, but i was still 97 pounds lighter than at my heaviest.

noranoranoranora posted several other pictures from the chick meet in joisy at the beginning of june. the very last one is me with the pants that fit me when i weighed 500 pounds. and please remember, the ME at that point was a little more than 300 pounds, and i've lost about another 15-20 since then.

and for those who don't know, peachie [aka peach pit] is my real life sister.

Jiff is was so wonderful to see those picts!! and you are right you do noeed to get smaller clothes! LOL i know you hate to spend the cash as you are dropping weekly. the pict of you with the big pants are fabulous. I loved seeing that. some day you will have to step in them and take the pict o fyou holding them out. all ofyou look so wonderful and happy!! {{{sigh}}} maybe some day. :cry:

Everyone has already said it, but I will too! Wow!! I guess you do need to get the calculator out! I love reading your updates as they are very inspirational! I was also gonna say you will have to take a picture of yourself in the before pants (maybe when you reach goal!!) I remember reading in Susan Powter's book "Stop the Insanity" where she said she tried something on that she thought would fit, and it hit the floor. It was way too big. Maybe you should do that for fun sometimes! Just try some of your "before" clothes and watch it hit the floor! :D

Also, you know they say the final 100 are the hardest!:lol:
I am in the same boat needing to lose that "final 100" But reading your posts lets me know that others have had a harder road and struggle and it can be done, so God Bless ya Jiffy!
