haha thats what i meant. if i had continued coming to this site (and generally doing the things that i did to lose it in the first place) i know i would have kept it off.

Congratulations on coming back before all of the weight was regained!!!

Like so many others here, I lost a significant amount of weight (95 lbs) a few years ago and put it all back on (+more). I, too, plan to keep coming back here regularly when (note to self: yes, WHEN) I get to my goal weight. The biggest lesson I learned from this last time around is that for me, weight isn't something that will ever be 'solved'. Eating well for a healthy body might become normal, but I will never trust that my food demons, lurking in the shadows, are ever gone. That was my big mistake the last time and it took just one (albeit significant) personal crisis for the demons to return.

You will do it!!!

DCHound - I loved your comment about "food is just food" I came to a similar conclusion and it has really given me a lot of peace in dealing with the whole food thing
