I need a butt kicker!! LOL!
I am notorious for starting gunho and then fading off into the sunset.

I would love to buddy up with someone or someones, and trade email addresses. That way if I am not seen on the boards, I will get a lovely, GET YOUR A** BACK THERE email!!

I would return the same!

I was doing this with another member on here but just on the boards. Unfortunately, just before christmas she stopped logging in and never came back. I was bummed because it was really helping me by knowing that someone was going to be checking up on me!

I LOVE the idea of trading email addresses in case someone has been 'avoiding' the boards...lol Because you know that it's usually because you've been doing something you shouldn't

Default Butt Kicker Here!

I'd like to offer my services as a butt kicker in return for having someone kick my butt, too.

As of Christmas eve, I fell off the wagon and gained back 2 lbs...I didn't post for about 3 weeks, then shamefully came back...after the first. I do think if I had someone to email me and say..."Where have you been??" I'd have been back sooner.

On another note (somewhat related) I joined a women's group at church involved in healing emotions...we signed a contract to promise to be at the class on Wednesdays and attend church on Sundays, NOT JUST FOR OURSELVES but to promise to be there to be support for the others in the group. I tried skipping one class and my new friend called me about 15 minutes after the class started to say "Where are you??" I tried to play it off and get out of attending but I really needed to be there for myself and for the others. I honestly told my friend, I was avoiding the class and wasn't planning on coming but because she called, i'd get myself there.

For me, quitting when anything touches too close to home is my M.O. I need all the help I can get.

We could start our own little sub-group! I've private messaged you my email address.

I am also a good starter...not so good at follow through. I wouldn't mind being involved in a little subgroup of butt kickers. With 4 little boys, I have a hard time sticking to anything that doesn't involve them. I need constant reminders that the best way to take care of THEM is to take care of ME.

fmb-I would say that all are welcome! Desire to help Kick Butt and get your Butt Kicked in return would be the only requirement!

I've lurked at a few other sections of 3fc, I have to say the 100lb club and the general Weight Loss Support seem to be the nicest most welcoming groups, in my opinion!

I LOVE 100 pound club. Everyone is so inspiring. No offense to everyone else but I tend to stay here 75% of the time.

I think to start a Sub Group we just continue to post here. Notice some of the posts have 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 etc pages?? We just keep on posting here.


Okay, here is my butt kicker for you all today remember that you are staying motivated today, staying OP (whatever your plan is) for the rest of us as much as you are for yourself. (I don't know about you but for me if I feel like I might let someone else down if I quit seems to be more motivating than if I am just doing it for myself!)

My personal goal for today is to journal ALL that I eat, to drink 48 oz of H20, get in atleast 30 minutes of activity (hate to exercise!) even if it is just shaking my booty to the music as I clean house like Mr. Dancing Carrot here.

I think the original poster should edit the first post and copy all the names of every who joins in. Then, we will know who we should be watching out for. Haha. It'd be like the neighborhood watch.

Lightbulb Monday morning - Let's get started!

Morning Butt kickers!!!

I figured I'd get us started today! It looks like there are 6 of us right now. Be sure you send a private message to everyone with your email address and be sure you get everyone's email too.

okay, so much for trying. I know I started today's post but my day started off all wrong and went backwards from there.

I was going to go into details but suffice it to say that the stress of caring for 3 sick kids (vomiting & strep) and 2 healthy but needy kids, a hubby working from home and being up since 4 am took it's toll and I not only skipped the workout for today, I also ate EVERYTHING that wasn't tied down and was sooooo very bad for me.

Hoping to start off on a much better foot tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Hope you all had a better day than me!
