Default I'm back and spoiling for a fight!

thats right its me again. so i've been lazy very lazy and it felt great. however now i'm needing to sort my self out.

step 1. i've been teetotal for 16 months.
step 2. i've joined fitbug
step 3. given up coffee.

now step 3 is causing issues. its been about 52 hrs since my last cup but who's counting yesterday i felt awful. cold sweats, shakes, headaches and totally knackered i spent all day in bed. and im sorry to say i ate instead of having coffee.

today however i feel great i've been very good i'm on green tea and squash and keeping a strict eye on things.

Fantastic! You are doing a great job. The good news is that the caffeine withdrawal is probably close to being over...I would guess that you have no more than another two days...and probably less before things ease off.

Great work! If things get really bad have a cup of hot tea, it has a different form of caffeine and may ease the withdrawal as long as you don't substitute the same amount.

Back I remember you!

Glad things are going okay so far. You'll kick the coffee habit soon enough

Welcome back! Giving up coffee is a tough one! Good luck and keep fighting the good fight! Just watch out for the counter-attack of the cakes!

oh my god today i feel like sh**e been in bed all day head is feeling terrible eyes are hyper sensitive to light. just got up now, eaten well but done minimal walking.

fitbug is an online pedometer type thing that you plug into the pc via usb and it uploads to an online site. its good because if you update early evening after dinner it shows the deficit between energy in via what you've inputted for food and what you expended in steps so shows how much more you should be eating to make the 500 calories deficit

Hang in there! It does get better as you go along. I had to step it down, myself, mixing decaf with regular and slowly decreasing and using Tylenol to help with the withdrawal symptoms. I'd been up to 6 to 8 cups or more a day! I'm down to two in the morning, coffee or tea, and I'm comfortable with that level.

I am glad you are feeling better. I am so glad that I have NEVER liked coffee.

Congratulations on your amazing weight loss so far.
