Default Jan 7th, water challenge for today

okay I am awfull at drinking water. I was a soda drinking prior to this lifestyle change. I got through maybe 12 ounces of water all day yesterday!

I am challenging myself to drink 32 ounces today, which is a lot for me and a start!!
I will post before bed to tell you how I did.

Anyone up to the water challenge?

4 glasses? Okay. I can do that. I really have never developed this habit, but I think I should. Less coffee is probably a very good thing.

I will take that challenge. I have been working on drinking enough water. I too was a diet soda drinker. I now limit myself to one cup of coffee and one can of diet drink a day. The rest has to be water.

I'll join you in your challenge also. I dring a lot of tea during the day rather than water and have avoided driniking the water up till now (I don't know what my problem is - it's not poison!).

I heard somehting on TV once - the person was talking about a cheap, fresh, good tasting, good for you drink with no calories which caught my interest. I was all ready to write down this new "miracle product". Then they said they were talking about water. Made me think.

I'm with ya! I've already got 20 oz under my belt and it's just 9 am!

Update: It's 2:30 pm and I have had a total of 80 oz so far!

I have a 26 oz container on my desk. My goal is to drink it twice. I am not necessarily going to cut out diet soda or coffee, but I think I need to drink more water. Not in the crazy (half your weight) numbers that I have un the past...just more.

I have a hard time drinking water also! I've decided though to get in enough water I am going to drink (or sip on) 16 oz. water at each meal (48oz.) and another 16 oz. after supper/before bed. That will be 64 oz. total. I've done this for the last couple of days and so far....so good! (except living in the bathroom more than intended!!)

I'm up! My three litres DID NOT CUT IT yesterday. I'm aiming for four today. I was SO parched this morning (that TOM is coming) and my body is telling me to aim much higher.

Go! Go! Go!

Goodluck ladies, ya'll can do it. I try to do 64 oz a day minimum of just water. I throw in some sugar free green tea too, but only after my water intake is complete. I need some variety.

I have drank 60 Oz so far today. I have always been a big water drinker though. My difficulty is exercising and eating well. Good luck with upping your water intake!
