Default B-A-D Day

I have been getting sick since Jan 1st. Crappy way to start the new year, huh? So today I was at work and my gums started hurting (I had my wisdom teeth removed three and half weeks ago). A piece of bone had been left behind on both bottom teeth. They had to cut them out. So I am sick and my gums hurt. I was going to start running again today but that doesn't look like its going to happen. I've got some good meds right now though. LOL Sorry to whine to all you! Thanks for listening though.

Aww that sounds rough. I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 18 and I remember it being soooo painful. I hope you feel better soon.

I had that exact same thing happen. My wisdom tooth got infected and I was miserable so my dentist (who was an awesome dentist) pulled it out instead of making me wait for a spot at the oral surgeon's to open up.

Well a few months later my tooth started to hurt where there was no tooth! I thought I was going crazy but my dentist took one look and the next thing I knew he asked his assistant for a "10 blade."

I did feel MUCH better 24 hours later when the tiny piece of bone that had broken off was safely removed.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled (which I should NEVER have allowed to be done, but that's another story), and I had pieces of bone working out for weeks. It's fairly typical, I guess, for bone pieces to break off.
