I'm here

  • but sick again. The flu (real flu) this time. High fevers, body aches, chills... it's lovely I tell ya.

    I'm staying on plan (on plan meaning not over 1800 clean calories a day) but having a hard time eating anything of substance. I'm sure a few days of this won't hurt right.

    Well off to bed. Hopefully I can sleep tonight.

    lol I usually am struggling to get enough calories when I'm sickly. I'm lucky if I get like 500 lol. Especially if I'm throwing up haha.

    Don't worry too much about calories right now - it's highly unlikely you'll feel like eating anywhere near enough to go over and it's ok to go under when you're sick like this. Just eat clean and take in LOTS of fluids. Water, tea, broth, whatever you can keep down.

  • Everyone is right! Fluids are the most important thing to get in your body right now, so don't worry about the calories - they're needed to help your body fight this off!

    Also, as an alternative to the usual american chicken noodle soup, if you have a Thai or Vietnamese place around, have someone go pick you up some of their chicken or beef soup! Clean calories, nutritious, and so tasty!
