Smile It works!!!

I stayed on plan for 2 weeks, minus a few slips...I drank tons of water, made excellent food choices, wrote everything down and lost 5.5 lbs in two weeks! I am so excited to finally have the scale moving in the right direction.

I joined Weight Watchers about 2 months ago but didn't really embrace the whole lifestyle change, definitley didn't write everything down. I lost a little here, gained a little there, with no appreciable results. Once I came to 3FC and read some of the stories of the 25, 50, 75, 100+ lb weight loss, I decided to get serious about my goals. Thank you all for your motivation!

I literally did a little victory dance today at weigh in. I am so proud of myself! I think this calls for a dancing carrot!!

on the weight loss. Yes it certainly makes you very aware of everything that you are putting in your mouth if it is recorded. For me it was the big wake up call and made me get the best out of my allotted calories for the day.

Thanks for all you guys' kudos. It's nice to be surrounded by people who face a similiar journey!

Writing everything down has been such a HUGE help for me. I'm a great bargain shopper and feel like my points are just like money, "Do I want to spend my points on that?" It does keep me honest for sure!!

Michelle, that is sensational! Well done! I agree with you on the food journal--such a simple thing but OH, SO powerful!

I'm right with you Michelle!

Both the support of the 3FC crowd and tracking my food intake has really helped. Today I blogged about my biggest challenge to staying on plan that's happened to me and the more I think about it, the more I realize that having this group of supporting ladies really helped me make a good choice. It was like you all were right there cheering me on while I stood frozen trying to figure out what to do.

Anyhow big congrats for losing 5+ pounds!! Next time you're in the store pick up 5 pounds of butter and look at it - I always find that to be pretty motivating!

Well begun is half done! That's terrific! The best thing is that you are learning about what works for you...and those 5.5 pounds are gone forever we hope.
