Well then. You've made some good changes so far! Cutting out some of the junk, substituting snacks with healthier foods.
I second Schmoodle, time to find a plan. It IS confusing if you follow all the plans at once.

So you can't do that. But, you can find one that appeals to you and follow it to see if it fits your lifestyle.
I found that, for me, following WW has helped. I enjoyed their open group support atmosphere, and their plan philosophy that we have to be able to eat real food so we might as well get a handle on it! I fit WW around my life, and so far so good!
Walking out with your boy is a great way to get exercise!
