Default Weekly Exercise Thread, August 6 - 12

Since we didn't have one last week, I figured I would start one just in case

Only exercised three days last week, so I need to step it into gear this week!

Let's go girls!

I've missed this thread!! I still don't have internet access at home anymore, but I can check in a few times a week on my work laptop.

Let's see...we missed it last week but I ended up hiking a total of 8 1/2 miles on the weekend and running about 31 miles during the week!

Today I ran 8 miles.

Monday: VBS at church. Lots of walking, stair climbing and an hour on my feet helping kids to crafts.

Tuesday: More VBS. Its a ST night, so I did some upper body work and crunches.

Hi, Some of you might be wondering why I am not posting!
Well, I was away during the weekend, but I did excercise while I was there plus most of the days had one other activity: swimming or hiking.
Why did I ruin Monday? I just don't know, I felt like going to work was unbearable so I stayed and worked from home. Unfortunately that made me even more sluggish and I had no will to push myself to the gym...

Tuesday: after long debates on the inside, I drove myself to the gym, leaving no options. Once I was on the elipitcal for 15min, things started to move, and I felt it like it was a gam/challenge...so I finished it plus did some weights for 25 minutes.

Good job on the elliptical and weights, cbeta!

I ran 13 miles this morning and it was crazy-hot. Like...ridiculous.

Wednesday: Got home from VBS and was outside by 8:45pm mowing my front lawn. Thanks to a streetlight, I could see. It was hot and the grass was thick. It took me 30 minutes to mow...its normally a 20 min, job! The backyard was too dark, that will get done over the weekend.

3 mile run with the cross country team today -- already 85 degrees when we were out there this morning -- ugh!

Yesterday I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and about 10 minutes of stretching and erm 5 minutes on the elliptical trainer.

Today I'd like to do about 35 minutes on the treadmill.

Tomorrow is my orientation and then I'm hoping to do a Yoga class unless part of my orientation is to do my routine that they're going to give me.
