Default Wow, Live and LEARN!!!

HI GUYS!

I've been out with a brutal bad back, but I'm slowly on the mend!!! Went out for a walk around the block today, to stay limber as the DR recommended

I stopped at a light, and McDreammy Jogger Man stops beside me, stretching, etc, and says something to me -- I had my iPod on so i pulled out the headphone and said "pardon me?" expecting some rude comment so I have my "f**k you a$$h**" retort at the ready...and dude says 'GOOD FOR YOU FOR GETTING OUT HERE, KEEP IT UP"

AS IF!!!! hahah who WAS this guy?????? LOL

OH and if the day doesn't get better.....My weight's been stuck @ 317.2 for weeks now, exactly the same number even tho a shirt i couldn't do up now fits, and some pants are too big...DUH the battery was dead!!!!!! bye bye 11 pounds

Trazey, cute pic. When I'm a fit jogger (and I will be, someday) and I see a big person out for a walk, or a bike ride, or whatever, I'll cross the street against traffic, go down a side street, brave vicious dogs even, to get up close and say GO YOU!

It's encouraging to me to see other large people out exercising. I know it's so good for them, it even gives ME a good feeling!

Now, THAT is a good day! Congrats on the loss!

Once I was out walking, and as I passed a woman standing on her front steps, she said that she had lost over 100# walking and eating better, and she gave me the thumbs up for getting out there. I thought her encouragement was great.

Oh Trazey, that's priceless! Not only do you get the comment from the hunky guy, but the scale too? I can only imagine how frustrated you were getting that it wouldn't move!

I love hearing stories about nice people. There are so many jerks that you forget that most people are pretty nice.

Great loss, and good for you for sticking with it even though the scale wasn't moving.

Great going on getting that scale to "finally" move.

It's also great to hear about someone actually encouraging a stranger instead of making negative remarks. I'm glad you were the benefiicary of that comment.

I hope your back mends quickly. And I hope now that your scale has got those new batteries that you won't remain "stuck" for weeks at a time.

Great story! Fellow exercisers are the best! I've yet to meet someone who was in the midst of a workout who wasn't kind, positive, and upbeat. And go you, Trazey!

Hi Trazey,

Thanks for sharing.....its awesome to read about positive interactions. We've heard so much negative lately. And, its great about the scales!
