Default Mickey D's

I just saw that McDonald's posted their second ever loss in revenue for the 2nd quarter of 2007. I knew I ate a lot of that stuff, but who knew my quitting fast food cold turkey would cause them to lose so much money?!

And I on the other hand, personally got a letter from the makers of Edy's ice cream begging me to please, please, PLEASE reconsider my decision to permanently do away with the stuff. The board of directors were uncertain whether or not the company could survive without me and all the revenue I pumped into their company.

Yes - I think Mickey D's is WAY far behind other places in terms of healthy choices. I find their salads disgusting and thats about all you can get. Even the grilled chicken is loaded with salt, fat and sugar and chemicals. Ugh

6 months ago I was spending about 200 a month at Mickey D's.

I will admit the folks over at my Ihop asked me where I been. I used to go every friday T-bone steak, 3 eggs, hash browns, and a short stack of blueberry pancakes and about 3 to 5 cups of coffe. Never tipped under 5 dollars

Breakfast places are easy!

2 poaches eggs (or scrambled - ask for limited/zero butter/oil), side of sliced tomatoes, 2 pieces dry whole wheat toast with jam

Bowl of oatmeal, side of fruit

Eggwhite omelet (ask for limited/zero butter/oil), stuffed with vegetables, top with salsa, 2 pieces dry whole wheat toast with jam

Sometimes, breakfast places have veggie sausage - just have to ask!

I love it when friends want to go to breakfast places - I can easily find something yummy and onplan!
