Default Core Stability Disc Question

Hi All,

Was just throwing it out there wondering if anyone is using a core stability disc. I bought one today to try to strengthen up my core areas in an additional way. I've been doing the exercises on them and they seem remarkably easy-----so---what's the catch?--what am I missing?--and has anyone out there found them effective?

Thanks in advance :-)
bree
p.s. I love this board! :-)

Yes, I use stability discs. If you're finding them easy, you must have remarkable core muscles!! What kind of exercises are you doing on them? I put one under my shoulder blades, then bridge with my legs and do chest presses. I also stand on them and do bicep curls and other upper body work with weights. When I started, I stood on them side-by-side, then moved to a stride stance, which is a bit more difficult. Also, I've used them for crunches, reverse crunches, etc.

Sheila-------------ack! Okay, I've only done the standing up exercises. Okay--I'm so totally on it about discovering everything else I can do on it. And since I wrote--I am feeling my muscles. Gulp gulp and gulp. Perhaps I spoke too soon?

Feeling like I have virtual egg on my face......

Thanks for the info :-)

Sleep well,

bree
