got a tattoo all in one weekend!!!! I've been debating cutting all my hair off for weeks now. Something kept sticking in my mind my mom told me a long time ago. She had said the most large women don't look good with short haircuts. It's stuck with me all these years but I kept looking at Sandi's picture and how pretty she is with her short hair. My hair has started looking like a haystack and I just decided to take the plunge and do it.
I didn't want to go to a stylist in the town where I work because they are so darn expensive and I wasn't really impressed with what I got the last time. I called Saturday and the salon I like to visit could fit me in. (It's in my hometown and only cost $12 for a shampoo and cut)
This is what my hair started looking like (the top one was taken a couple days ago. The bottom was in March and my hair still had a great color and shine to it)
And I went to this:
Finally, My SIL does tattoos and I've been bugging her for a while to do this one. She had a couple of cancellations and already had her stuff out and ready so I went over last night and had it done. Let me tell you the thing hurt like ****. It was bearable but it never went numb like Jeff told me it would. I think she did a super awesome job on it and I'm really impressed!!!
I love your haircut! How CUTE!! I love my short hair...so much easier to maintain. Tattoo is adorable! Is that on your arm? I think I am too much of a wimp to get a tattoo.
Funny before i came on line i was thinking the same thing, my hair was like your before pic....3 years ago i cut it less then a inch all over, i was working outside then....I will do the same thing soon.......i used the free hair cut makeover like it short...
I love the hair and tattoo, wow you are brave!!! I love tattoo's but am much too chicken to get one. My mother always said the same thing about hair and weight, thus I don't have short hair, but who knows maybe I will cut it for my Bday? lol
you guys need make overs... hair cuts and tatoos are awesome, but the make over will make you feel like a brand new beautiful women
i recommend every 3-6 months.. and if u go to a college its only about 100 and if you are around NS canada come see me ill do it for free
love the tat, and sometimes mothers are wrong.. Your hair cut looks sweet on ya girl
You look great, and what a cute tat... one of my best friend's loves tink, but is too chicken to get a tattoo, although she always says she wants one. Once again, you look so good, guess mom was wrong. I may have to cut mine again soon.. getting too hot to run with all this hair, lol.
I'm too much of a wimp for a tatoo... but I've always said that I would get a life size ladybug if I was ever to get one. I'd have it on my shoulder - then people would say "there's a bug on you.." hehe
Love the hair .. cute. It must feel awesome to wash n' go with it now.
What does hubby think?
I cut my hair and got a tattoo when I lost weight too! I used to use my "big hair" as camoflage. Obviously, if my head was so big, my body must look smaller, right??
Tattoo didn't hurt that badly at all, nothing unbearable
I love the haircut! It really shows off your eyes, too. And that tattoo is adorable! I love the sparkly
I've had long hair for so long; the last time I got it cut I thought I looked like a boy.
BUT, I need to get it at least trimmed, and I think that I'm going to ask the new guy who does my hair (I dumped the hairdresser who made me look like a boy) what he thinks would look good with my very round face and double chin.
I have to be so careful, because I have curly hair, and it can really make my face look huge if it's not cut right.
Your haircut looks terrific...it really shows off your cheekbones. I don't know about the weight-hair length connection, but I think you definitely need to have a certain type of hair to wear it short - and you do! Looks great.
