I had a real tough week. I had to do battle with the evil munchie monster on most days. . I managed to keep him at bay, but it was HARD, harder then usual. But somehow I kept him in check.
I am officially no longer obese. That bears repeating for me. I am officially no longer obese. That was a huge factor huge for me hanging in there and staring down the big munchie monster.
I am down 3 lbs. To 152 lbs. Oh, and I am no longer obese.

Well, I completely give up trying to figure out scales! I'm down 3 this week. Yesterday morning the scale was only showing me a 1 lb loss....so what happened? Maybe I just gave up some water I was retaining or something. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining! It's just that I'm a scientist and I like having something to figure out....and I don't even have an hypothesis on this one! Could be tomorrow shows that today was a fluke but "oh well" today is the official weigh-in day, not tomorrow! hahaha
Robin: You are a constant inspiration. Congrats on another wonderful week and wonderful milestone. Hope all is well with your family.
Tricia: It always amazes me that scales seem to fickle (I know they're not, but they sure seem to be). It looks like you got the best of yours this week anyway.

As for me, I am down another 3 pounds this week. I'm still pretty far off my M.D. mini-goal, but am excited to add another dancing banana.
I'm still maintaining and avoiding the scales. My clothes are still fitting nicely and I'm making wise choices but I havent been able to work out and we are eating on the run...but, its all good. While Hubby has been thinking on how to best pack the TVs and computers so they don't get broken, I have been thinking about how to pack my scales so they dont become inaccurate!

Oh darn. I don't have a 3 pound loss!! I don't fit in!! But, I'll take my 2 pound loss any day! The scale flickered on 269, but when I gave it a chance (ok, 4 chances) to think about it, it stayed on 270. Maybe next week I'll reach the 260's.
First of all, CONGRATLATIONS to EVERYONE for having such a successful week. Being the newbie, I look to these types of threads to keep me motivated. When I see great losses happening all around me, it becomes a reality to me and not just something I dream of doing! You guys are doing this and I CAN TOO!
Although my official weigh in day has been Wednesday mornings, I couldn't wait to share this exciting news....I went from 288.5 to 286! 2.5 POUNDS GONE FOREVER! I have TOPS tonight and I am so excited to get on their scale! I'll post again on Wednesday and let you know my "official" results, but I was just to anxious to share this with someone! GO TEAM!

Diane.. UGH ! I HATE THAT! I usually keep stepping on the scale thinking it'll end in --9.8 when that happens.. except it never does. You'll see those numbers next week, though!
I'm weighing in Friday, but TOM is beginning to make its presence known.. and I had an unexpected visit from the gf this weekend, so I coudln't make it to the gym... buuuuut I'm hoping for the best anyway. I weighed in last week at 238, FINALLY out of the 240s, took long enough!

I had a rough week last week. Went off plan once and the scales at one point said I was up 5 pounds! Many of you were very supportive. I stuck it out, added a little more food (advice from my trainer) and the scales show I'm down 2 pounds today (7 pounds I guess if I count the 5 pound gain). You all were right! Must have been water! This puts me at officially 50 pounds lost! I'm sure going to have to have a great week to meet my Memorial Day goal, but I'm going to give it my best shot!
