  • Finn, a half marathon!! How wonderful! I want to sign up for one in September, but I'm not sure yet. Well, yeah, I am. I'm going to sign up!

My NSV from last night is a little weird. My brother came for a visit, and I haven't seen him since Christmas, which was about 25-30 pounds ago. He was excited, and he's always really supportive, but suddenly he got sad. He said I look so different it's like he's lost his sister! "Where's the Lisa I know?" he said. I told him he couldn't keep that obese sister forever, which is true I guess, because I was probably on the way to an early death. It was just really funny because he couldn't get over how different my face is.
  • Lisa, I loved your NSV.

finn, great job on the NSV's.

My NSV. Yesterday we had a large funeral to attend (a police officer killed in the line of duty). We were shuttled to the Convention Center 1 1/2 miles from our vehicles. The buses didn't pick us up afterwards and we had to walk back to our cars. No big deal now, but before losing wt. I would not have been able to walk that far back to my car. I'd have had to ask someone to give me a ride to my car.
  • Great NSV's everyone!

I have a measurements NSV... I've lost 3.5" from my waist and 2.75" from my hips!
  • My NSV, I saw a picture of me from October '06 today. It was taken for church and it reminded me how far I've come!
  • These are ALL so inspirational! It tis a genius who came up with the idea for this thread!

My NSV: My mother asked me how much I have lost. Mind you - I have not told her I was on a diet...just told her (casually) that I was eliminating sugar and white flour from our diet, etc. So, I guess this was her way of saying she could tell I am losing.

  • A great job ladies!!!! As usual. Wow. So incredibly inspiring. Now it's time to STOP posting here and move on to APRIL NSV'S. I can hardly wait.
