Default getting back on the wagon without meetings

hey all.
i have battled weight issues practically my entire life.
i first joined weight watchers when i was 11 years old.
since then, i have rejoined too many times to count.

i know weight watchers is a solid program that is realistic.
i love weight watchers.
we are on a super tight budget so i can't afford a membership right now.
luckily, i was attending meetings when points plus came out, so i have the materials i need to succeed.
i also made myself a tracker in excel, so that will be a helpful tool.

i'm hoping to find support here, and give some in return.

So sorry you had to come back, but we have all been there! I too am doing it at home and use an app for android on my phone and track at fatsecret dot com and am doing fine. I too can't afford the current prices in this economy so doing the best we can. I get support on a few forums and an email buddy. You can do it and welcome back.

I am also starting over after a few years of overeating and gaining back ALL the weight I had lost plus an extra pound or two

This site is great and I agree that an email buddy is great too. I have a few email buddies and it's great. They are funny (like make you laugh out loud funny ) Definitely helps when you have people who know what it's like to struggle with weight loss....

so goodluck with your journey and look forward to getting to know you!!!!

WELCOME!!!!

I simply don't have the money to join WW... I use to go and the support was wonderful... Now, instead of sharing my diet woes with the WW group, I confide in a couple of friends that truly care about my progress.. I also use "self-talk" - This is when I talk out loud to myself when I am craving sweets or other foods. It works!

This web site is the absolutely best place for support at home and the price is right! Thank God for 3fc! The stories, pictures, and information is a big source of my support..

Hang in there - stick to this site and you should be fine.

I am a bit slow to welcome you but great job on jumping back on the wagon! This is a great place for support. The chicks here have held my hand through the good, bad and ugly.

Please post often

Hi anawhatsme glad to see you came back so how was today and yesterday point wise? I messed up over the weekend and ate like half of my flex points so now I'm paying for it. Yesterday and today I have felt starving...not really sure why since I've been eating a ton of veggies but it seems like 22 pts is such a small amount, but,oh well! My tummy will get used to it.

Here's to a better tomorrow!!

hey laura.
i am finished day 2 and it's going well.
i only have 18 weekly points left though.
and 2 activity points so far.
so i will have to be careful the rest of the week.

i find i'm really hungry today as well.
i'm wondering if it has anything to do with my period, or if it's just my body getting used to this change.

what day do you weigh in?

Hey anawhatsme: so how'd your week end up? i weighed in this morning and only lost 1/2 a lb so I was kind of bummed but then thought of what dee said in another post about the sticks of butter and no longer feel bad. I hope all is well! What day do you weigh in?
