Question Protein Snacks

What are your favorite snacks that aren't carb-filled? I've determined that I'm eating too many carb snack-laden snacks. I have lots of snacks I love that are low in points but high in simple carbs, so I need to balance this out. I need snacks that can be taken to the office easily. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I'm not a big meat eater so I have a protein shake at lunch every day. Advant Edge makes a good one (rich dark chocolate) that only has 100 calories and is made with Splenda to keep the carbs down. They don't taste all "vitaminy" either. I think it has something like 17g of protein.

The single serving tuna things are good with a few crackers. As are the low fat string cheese sticks.

Aside from what's already mentioned,

-Cottage cheese mixed with basil and tomato is one of my favorites (even better with crackers but good and low-carb this way).

-1 egg's worth of egg salad atop greens

-quick black bean salad with 1/2c black beans and some diced red onion, green pepper, cilantro, and lime juice

These aren't necessarily carb-free, but are not carb-dependent. Hope that helps.
