Question alcohol and low points do they go together?

Goodmorning!

I was wondering if anyone has any secrets on low point alcoholic drinks? I was out last night and had a few drinks, but I knew the calories in my cranberry vodka's were not low cal. I like to go out on the occassion with friends and have a drink, but I don't want to consume all my points for the day. If you have any ideas I would love to hear what they are.

Thanks for your help.

Katie

Wine-2 points for 4 ounces
Light beer-2 points per bottle
rum and diet coke or diet coke with lime
strawberry Daquiri

Those are my favorites...

PS you could also stretch the wine and make it one point by adding it to seltzer and making a wine spritzer...

I love vodka and Fresca personally. I also like to take Crystal Light and put it in a blender with vodka and fresh strawberries, it makes a yummy frozen drink.

Thank you for the brilliant ideas ladies. I love the idea of vodka and fresca, also what a great idea by adding seltzer to a glass of wine. I can't wait till I go out again so that I can try them.

Thanks again.
