Default Magazine find!

It appears to only be a single issue, but still worth looking for! I was at Costco this afternoon, and spied an Oxygen magazine called "Nutrition". It says at the top that it's an Oxygen Collector's Issue, and apparently they put one out each year.

I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing yet, but it's worth taking a peek! It has a clean diet checklist, an article on the top 12 essential superfoods, 20 pages of recipes, energy foods to go, etc...lots of good reading. I paid $5.20 CDN for it, which is pretty reasonable.

Some of the recipes I've earmarked already are oatmeal pancakes, chewy honey energy bars, and a chewy chocolate peanut butter bar - with flaxseed, dried fruit, and honey - that my son might enjoy. Oh, also a recipe for rosemary chicken and white beans, and a curried sweet potato stew.

Anyway, just wanted to share so if you're interested you can keep an eye out for it!

Excellent! These sound like some recipes that I can try for my girls! I'm real interested in the oatmeal pancakes...yummmmmy! And the chewy, chocolate pb bar! They love cereal/granola bars already. If I can make a homemade one with none of the 'junk' that store bought have, I'd be very, very happy! I'll check at my local BJ's Wholesale Club to see if it is there. If not, I know where a Costco is, and I'll check there. Thanks for the FYI!

You can also buy it from the Oxygen magazine website (I just googled Oxygen magazine).
