Default Dinosaur kale = SOOO GOOOD

Ok so I have a new obsession and I think I'm going to cry because I'm sure the height of the Kale season is behind us.

This past weekend, I went to the farmer's market and it was pretty thin as it is still early in the season. One of the farmers had kale but not the normal kale, a flat crinkly kale which I found online called dinosaur kale. I love normal kale but this stuff is out of this world.

Oh and it was cheap, a huge bunch of it was $3 (small bunches of organic greens at WF are generally $3). I actually bought 2 bunches of it.

I'm lazy so I just steamed it in my microwave steamer. I also put some into my salad with some romaine lettuce.

I am not the original poster, but my experience is that it is richer, stronger and more plush tasting (when well cooked) than regular kale. Good stuff.

Yeah I was going to say, it is just a richer taste. Similar but better.
