Here's the recipe, Laurel. I decided to try to be a little pro-active about planning for supper - I can throw this in the crock pot in the am & voila! - supper when I get home - just have to steam some veggies & cook noodles, rice or whatever I want to have with the chicken.
Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 carton (16 oz) LF or FF sour cream - I didn't see much taste difference w/the FF in this recipe, so I used that
1 can (10 3/4 oz) 98% FF cream of mushroom soup
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Mix all together & put in a crock pot. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. Serve over rice, potatoes, noodles (your choice).
4 servings/4 points per serving (add add'l points for the rice, noodles or whatever)
Over the weekend, I copied a bunch of crockpot recipes from my MIL's Quick Cooking/Taste of Home/Country Woman magazines - I plan to start testing those out - I'll post those, too, once I taste test them.
Enjoy!
