I'm pretty sure that after I lose a whole-persons worth of weight that I'm going to have a ton of loose skin.
I want to get the surgery when I've reached my goal because I've heard of the awkwardness of loose skin and clothing and don't really want that for myself if I can help it.
I'm looking for information regarding price, with both health cover and without. And what is involved in the procedure. I'm probably going to have to get my arm flab removed....is that a seperate op?
This is a concern of mine too. I have been researching it. The websites I found say it is very expensive and painful--but if you exercise and lose weight slowly, there will be less of a problem. I hope this helps.
I have heard the procedure is very painful too. I am not sure about pricing, you would have to talk to your surgeon about that, as I suspect it depends on how much he / she needs to take off. Some insurance plans will pay if there are complications due to the excess skin.
