Tough call because I hate tight/fitted shirts. LOL I'm just about 5' 3.5" tall and large framed...and right now I wear 4X-5X in tops, a 44-46DD, and a 1X-2X in bottoms. I have some really old Roaman's tops that are a 3X and still fit really comfortably, though. I'm hoping to be able to squeeze into a size 10-12 (both for tops and bottoms) within the next year.
I'm 5'10" at 264 lbs. I'm a large framed women. I currently wear size 20 pants & shirts. However they are getting looser so hopefully by the end of this month I can start buying some size 18's. I will never be in anything smaller than a size 14 pants due to my hips, and for the shirts I will never get below size 16 due to my broad back and shoulders. (these are the sizes I wore when I was at my healthiest & lightest weight).
Wow, I'm 269 and I wear a size 24! That's IT I must have the biggest hips on earth!
I agree this is a hard question, it will depend on how you are built. I am
5' 6" and 160lbs I am between 8-10 size. I have 36inch bust, 28.5 inch waist and 38 inch hips....
I'm 5' 3" and can wear a tight 14 or 16 jeans and atleast a 1x top. I have no idea what I weigh. I've been dieting for 3 weeks now and am just happy to be able to wear the jeans I have! Its been stretch pants for sooo long here.
I have never worn a top smaller than a 14 because I wear a 38 DD bra and its a really tight fit, even when I weighed in at 117 before I married again (well it was a 34 DD then). Its a family curse.
I would like to be able to wear my size 7 shorts that my husband is so fond of before my 10 year wedding anniversary next July (2007).
I do not have a scale and cannot get one. I become a slave to the scale and refuse to eat if the answer I get is not what I want.. Several years ago when dieting I became so obsessed with every morsel of food I ate that my hair began falling out. I would wake up and weigh myself and then not eat anything for days at a time. It was scary and I'm not sure I have beaten that mindset. So for now, no scale for me. Just clothing sizes to try to fit into slowly....and hopefully a more healthy approach to my body.
LOL, sometimes boobies are a curse!!! When wearing loose tops I have been asked when I'm due.........I am not pregnant and don't intend to ever be again!!

At my heaviest (233) I was wearing 2x and they were tight.
At 146 I'm wearing size 6 & 8, depending upon manufacturer. <insert happy dance here!> I AM large boned (can palm a basketball!)/large framed and never in my WILDEST dreams (and they can get pretty wild - nudgenudge, winkwink) did I ever dream I'd be wearing single digit clothes.
I've just always had well-padded bones.
