No need to be nervous. We're all in the same boat here. Lots of support to be found, whenever you need it.

You did it once, you can do it again! We believe in you!

Default Welcome!

Hi! We've all been there and everyone here is a great source of support. I think we all know how difficult losing weight can be and having a place to talk about it is just wonderful. It really helps to keep yourself on track. Don't beat yourself up, start with small changes and celebrate every victory! You can do it!

You did it before and you CAN do it again! In fact, you now can draw on your experience in the past and you'll recognize the pitfalls that caused you to regain the weight last time.

I lost and regained 45 lbs. several years ago and this time I feel more confident that I can keep it off for good. I lost the weight last time on a drastic low calorie diet but this time I'm being kinder to myself and I eat an average of 1500 - 1600 calories a day - slow but sure!

I have found a lot of support here at 3FC and I am also logging all of my foods in an on-line food diary (Fitday and Nutridiary are free sites). I also work out 3x a week at Curves which also helps keep me motivated.

All the best to you in your weight loss efforts

Dont be shy or scared. We are only words on a screen right now. And you only have one judge in life. At least thats how I feel. And only you answer to him.
So with all that said Welcome. And Im sorry to hear about your situation with the ex. But life does go on. And now your focus should be about you.
Right now you need to make changes in your life that will help you and they can be small changes just as long as you start to feel better about yourself.
Changes in your daily eating habits is a great start and also getting some more activity in your daily routine is also a great help to. Park farther away take a walk and seek out better more healther recipes to try.
You will make it thru this time and when you look back and see how well you did you will be even more in awe of how trully great you really are.
again
