Congratulations Stephanie! You're one of my favorite posters on here and I love watching your progress - such an inspiration! The whole "a year from now you'll be glad you started today" is so true. You look great
Just wanted to share that it was 1 year ago today that I decided to actively try to lose weight. It definitely wasn't my first try, and having regained so much weight, plus having had 2 babies since the regain, I was really down and discouraged.
It is a cliche, but the whole "1 year from now you'll be happy you started today" or however it goes, it's true.
Though my HW was 236 (December '11, ending pregnancy weight), my SW 1 year ago was 220, and it was ALLLLL me. I had gained weight after losing the initial weight I had lost post-baby. So. . .
Starting Body Fat%: >44%
Current Body Fat%: ~23-25%
Starting pant size: 20 solid
Current pant size: 4s, 6s, 7s, 9s (depending on brand)
Starting shirt size: XL-XXL
Current shirt size : M
Starting bra size: 44DD
Current bra size: 36C (though the band is a little loose)
Starting shoe size: 9
Current shoe size 7-7.5
My waist is now the size that my thigh used to be (literally), actually smaller.
The difference physical ability is outrageous.
I hope that for anyone out there who is just starting that maybe my little story will help just a little in showing you how MUCH of a difference a year can make if you just keep going!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!. Read your story; very insperational...makes me want to take control again...as I've been cheating lately... I will re-read when I feel blue!
Oh what an accomplishment you have done. You are such an inspiration and proof that it does work. Thank you for your wonderful achievement as it is one of the things that keeps me going too!

Truly great. I am so pleased for you and hoping to one day be in your "shoes." size 7 shoes. Haha. Actually I used to be a size 6 shoe and then gained weight and now I wear a 7.5. Never knew feet could shrink, thought they only went in one direction. Seems weird now that I think about it. Why would they grow but not shrink?
