Congrats on your losses so far. I get what you are saying, but walking around in clothes that are too big doesn't feel so good. You don't get the optimal effect of what you have lost so far.

I agree about trying to shop at old navy or thrift stores. I know some Forever 21 locations have plus size clothes. I'm planning to just get a couple of items and wear them a lot! You can work with some of your bigger clothes like wrapping a thin belt around a blouse etc...

I find I really need to replace pants most of all but I can still wear tops and dresses if I modify them. Otherwise, I'd focus on accessories: bags, shoes, jewelry so you can update your look with confidence without worrying about outgrowing them.

Try looking at clearance racks at JC Penney. They have some cute trendy jeans. I got two pairs for $10 each the other night. Some of the stuff is really mature (like collecting social security mature) but they have been making a concerted effort to have younger trendier clothes.

You're young & so pretty, I'm sure you'll look cute no matter the clothes.

Like others, I also recommend thrift stores or Goodwill if available where you live, or garage sales. Sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince, but it's so rewarding! Great if you're able to get something cute & cheap, and then be able to re-donate it a few months later when it's too big!

I'm a lot older but in the same boat, don't want to buy clothes now but have a reunion coming up so have to have something to wear. My body better not think this is the new weight just because I'm buying something to fit it!!

Good luck!
