EPIC sabotage fail! lolol!
last night, he made a *fabulous* dinner: a lightened-up caesar (real bacon, but for my portion, he put the bacon in full strips on top in case i didn't want it), parmesan cheese on the side so i could regulate mine, and he diluted the (usually too thick) dressing so it just lightly coated the lettuce, didn't act like wallpaper paste.
it was delicious - i had two bowls.
for dessert, he made apple crumble by slicing apples directly into the ungreased baking dish, then using bran muffin mix moistened with milk or water or something for the crumbled instead of the traditional brown sugar/flour/butter mix.
today, he went on and on and ON about how i didn't find the pringles. i said i didn't find the pringles because i wasn't looking for them. he kept going on about how if he didn't hide stuff, i'd just eat everything in sight. not even pointing out that 2-1/2lbs weight loss means 8,500 calories i didn't eat since last week helped - he would NOT stfu.
i went downstairs, finally, rather than give him a double helping of knuckle sandwich and he came downstairs with the box of pringles! he opened it up and wafted it under my nose - "eh? eh? waddaya think of that, eh?"
and i smiled. oh, how i smiled.
i said "g'head. eat them. does NOT bother me one bit" and that was the gods' honest truth.
he took a stupid large handful and rammed them into his mouth, froze, then chewed and swallowed.
"stale as ****, aren't they?" i said. i didn't even try to hide the smirk.
"no," he lied like a dog in the sun - "they're delicious. whaddaya think about that, eh?"
i said "i think you have a big gut" [which he does] and went back to checking for new 3fc posts.
[after he left for work, i found the can - still mostly full - in the garbage bec they were stale-dated back in december, LOL]
