Default Small but significant NSV!

At the gym today, i ran a mile!

Ok, I didn't run it all at once. But I did do it. Actually more than a mile.

I have been exercising regularly for 36 weeks, and can do hill walking on the treadmill and an hour-plus on the elliptical. But I have avoided jogging/running because I have a big gut that flops against me and makes an embarrassing noise. Also, I have big boobs, so running hasn't always been the most comfortable activity for me. But I want to run just as a personal goal of mine.

Lately, while walking on the treadmill, I have started running for a couple of minutes at a time. Today, I ran for five consecutive minutes, did some incline walking, then ran for another five minutes, then walked a while, then three minutes and finally ran for two more minutes. So I did a little more than a mile of running.

Glad I did it, even though it was tough. Next running goal will be stringing more minutes together until I can do a mile without stopping

Not small! Not at all!

(at least for me)

When I first started, I would be about to throw up after 1/4 of a mile, and it tok me awhile to work up to running a whole mile straight-through.

AND YOU DID IT! Great job!

That's awesome!

It wasn't too long ago that I was choosing certain panties and shorts to wear for my runs, that would help support my butt, to reduce jiggling! I can totally relate! Before you know it, you're going to be so hot with a great runner's butt!

Way to go!

I can so relate to your happiness as I've recently taken up jogging too, and I started my journey the same month you did. I had been doing stationary bike, as well as step for exercise until now - but it had become a little monotonous. So I'm now jogging 4 minutes, alternating with stationary cycling 4 minutes for 30 minutes! I'm so proud of myself too, because 4 minutes of jogging at once would have killed me 6 months ago!

Anyhow, keep up the great work!
