My fitness pal! I use it on my PC and as a mobile app! I update it a few times a day: on the train, in the elevator, waiting in line....
I can't find the brands I use, but like most have stated, they have raw ingredients so I end up adding each ingredient individually and create a recipe.
I keep track of food and exercise, so it gives a net calorie total!
I used to use Livestrong but I switched a while back to Fat Secret. I loved Live Strong but Fat Secret seems a bit easier to navigate and more user friendly for my needs.
I have been using Livestrong to track what I eat, daily exercise and weight loss and I love it. It was a real eye opener to see what consists of a serving.
I love the lose it iphone app. I always have my phone with me, so I can just log as I go. Most convenient. And, at least in my age group, it's completely normal to be typing on your phone at all times, so know one has to know what I'm actually doing when I whip my phone out.
I log my food online at DailyBurn.com, they have a huge database of foods, including even obscure brands and it also gives me a daily breakdown of how many calories I'm getting from protein/carbs/fat, in percentages, which is very helpful for me. They also have an exercise journal, but I don't use that.
I am another huge advocate for MyFitnessPal!!!! I had tried Sparkspeople and honestly, my ADHD brain could not figure it out (how to log the day before if the day went by and such)... I found Myfitnesspal to be easy to navigate; I log food and exercise, they always have brands I use and it helps to equal out my calories for me based on what I want!!! This means less thinking on my part, faster logging, and convenient... I have it monitoring my carbs and calcium (since calcium is a worry of my dr)... etc... totally personalized it
