Default S/O: How do you calculate your body fat percentage?

I didn't want to distract from the BMI thread but I was curious how many people calculate their body fat percentages? I know there's those scales that can supposedly do it but when I googled them most people said that they were pretty inaccurate?

I've tried doing some estimates on my measurements but those seem strange too because they focus entirely on your hip/waist size. I have pretty muscular arms and legs and carry all my weight pretty much in my butt/waist/chest so it seems like that estimate would be a lot higher than it should be?

I'd like to try calipers but I don't belong to a gym (we have one in our apt building) so I'm not sure where I'd get that done?

Dh and I have been talking about going to a nutritionist, would they be able to do that there?

Starting Measurements (B/W/H): about 51/40/46, 240 lbs Goal Reached Pre-Pregnancy: 39/29.5/38, 156lbs Current: about 43/34/42
Started at 240
Onederland 199 (Jan 6, 2010, exactly 2 years after my previous due date!)
Overweight BMI 185 (Aug 3, 2011, one year after joining 3FC!)
Pre-pregnancy weight 175 (Oct 18, 2011)
Called Goal 156

my nutritionist calculates my body fat percentage once a month . Its fast , easy and very accurate! gl

I need to find me a nutritionist!

When I hit 139 I am going to have my doctor give me a BMI test. I am short but there is NO WAY I am dropping down to 110-120. My goal is 132 which, according to the BMI charts, is the high end of normal. But I'm thinking after I see my doctor, 135 is more realistic based on my body type.

1/4/15: Restarting my journey exactly 4 years from when I first started in January 2011. Reached my goal weight in 2012 and regained half of it back.

I never should have left 3FC!
