Again, hubby and I are going to play D&D with the guys. Always, always there are two things that are the main snack faire: pepsi and chips. This time, I go equipped so I won't be hungry. I've eaten dinner and am full, so there's that. I've got my cals for the day accounted for, including the apples and carrots I am taking with me to the game so I will not eat chips. I made a gallon jug of jasmine green tea made with splenda so I will not drink the pepsi. So, wish me luck. I know I can do this. I love being nerdy, but I am tired of being a fat nerd.

Oh, and the title was supposed to be "Wish me luck" instead of what it says. :/ I hate typos!

Okay, now that that's out of my system: you are VERY smart to take your own snacks. If you host games at your place sometimes, maybe you can encourage something healthier than Pepsi and chips for other folks, too. I used to feed people fruit and cheese with wine; it seemed to suit the game's atmosphere better than crinkly Dorito bags and fizzy stuff.

Oh, I'm so sorry that you can't play with anyone, Nola! Pen and papers are so much fun. Hubby is the one that really got me into them. If you're ever in the neighborhood, feel free to come play!

Anyway, guys, I did have fun! Also, I was proud of the guys. Nobody brought pepsi or snacks, except me, and I was passin' the carrots and apples around. I am so glad! Next time I'll bring snacks again. Also, I LOST 2 pounds this morning. So, it paid off. I lost weight and had fun!
