Your story is both very touching and very inspiring. Losing 100 pounds in a year is something to be truly proud of. Thank you very much for sharing your story with us.

What an absolutely horrible experience for you to go through. I am so glad everything is fine and that you were able to use that as a catalyst to really change your life! My own health scare and really looking at mortality face to face is for sure what got me movin' this time, too. I firmly believe in my heart that REALLY knowing why we are doing this is what will make it stick, too.

What a difference a year makes!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm so surprised that anyone here actually found my story inspiring. I really truly have a hard time in seeing that what I've done is that big of a deal - mostly because I was so heavy to begin with. I tend to be hard on myself and I get very impatient. Everyone here is helping me remember to slow down (my mind) and enjoy the journey. Thanks again!
