I see a therapist about my eating issues, including overeating. I no longer binge like I used to and I owe a lot of that to therapy. I am not sure if my therapist uses CBT or not, but I think she does. I know she uses a lot of talk therapy and examines my behavior and we talk about the reasons behind it, processing the emotions, and it has really helped me. GOOD LUCK! I have the Beck Diet Solution too and I think it is an awesome book.
