However, I came across this website that really helped me get a better idea. I think I'm a cross between an hourglass and a cello.

It's hard for me to notice changes so I took a picture of myself at my start weight and I'm going to take a picture every 10 pounds or so in the same mirror in the same position to help me see changes.

Immediately. My face is the first place I lose weight. My face has changed quite a bit with 55 lbs of weight loss.

Thanks girls for all the input!!

I am definitely hourglass shaped..
I look back at old pictures and realize how chubby my face has gotten. I must lose weight all over my body, my pants are just barely sagging at all.
I will just keep kickin butt and move forward and hope to see some results!

Head, neck and shoulders are some of the places I notice first. I lose weight top-down (I don't know if that's the case for everyone). So my face and upper body will start to be noticeably thinner while the rest is seemingly the same.

I'm gonna say it was a good 20 lbs before I could see a difference.

I wish I had kept more pictures of me at my highest weight just for comparison. I deleted all my pictures when you could see my flub obviously because I didn't want to look at it! Now I wish I had something to compare the new me too, haha.

Keep in mind that everyone loses weight differently. I seem to lose very proportionately, which is kind of nice, but at the same time, I want to see results in specific areas of my body (my stomach!), but I'm shrinking slowly evenly. Some people drop really quick from one spot before they lose anything from anywhere else. I've known people that can gain and lose the same 10lbs and I swear they gain it all in their face/neck, lol. Also if you're hyperfocusing on one part, like I focus on my stomach, it'll be harder to notice any change at all. I wasn't focusing at all on my face, but it was a pleasant surprise to see how it had changed.

ETA: I just realized I have lost 12lbs since that second picture was taken. I personally don't feel that I look at ALL different. I should take some new pictures...easier to compare, haha.
Girl, You have a KILLER body and a beautiful face. I have noticed in most of your posts you have such negative things to say about yourself. You need to embrace and enjoy your beauty. You ARE thin and you ARE beautiful.

It took me about 15lbs to see some change (less of a double chin and more structure comign through), but I've had the most change in the past 30lbs..I can actually feel my neck getting smaller and my face really has shrunk..it's still chubby but I can actually start to see what I'm supposed to look like now! hopefully you'll see it falling off very soon

Other people usually notice about a week into my weight loss process. I don't usually see it til bout 30lbs into the game. It usually my indicator light because it's the first thing that starts shrinking. If only my belly and arms would be in step with my face.
