Having worked in retail for a long long time. I can promise you none of the sales people want you to leave the store(unless it's 5mins til closing time) They want you to BUY things and they don't care if they fit, or if they are for you or whatever, they just want you to buy things so they can make their sales for the day. They all have bosses breathing down their back to make their day in sales.

I feel so incredibly out of place at most of the Mall stores I think I've been in an A&F once in my life, and that was before they started having a shirtless guy playing host at the door.

But even at the more down-to-earth stores, Charlotte Russe, Express, etc, I feel like everyone is wondering why I'm wasting my time trying to find clothes in their store. I will generally stick to the big department stores since they're absolutely HUGE and you typically only run into someone when you are checking out.

With that said, I remember shopping at The Gap once and I was searching through a stack of jeans trying to find my size (tons 0-6's D: ) when one of the attendants came up to me and asked if I needed any help. I went pretty red when I asked if they had any 12's on hand, but he was a doll He made a quick comment about how a lot of their pants run small as far as the sizing is concerned, and that I shouldn't worry about it. I totally don't buy that, but bless him for saying it
