Default calorie question :)

myplate says i can eat about 2100 calories a day to lose weight still (i'm a big girl, haha) but i have been eating about 1500-1800. tonight though i might end up closer to that 2000... would this be cheating since i have stuck to a lower amount? or would it be perfectly fine since that's how much i am supposed to be able to eat anyway?

thanks

I personally eat in the 2,000 calorie range, mostly so that when I lose more weight or hit a plateau I can lower it a bit and move on. It's working, probably not as quickly as it could, but in the long run I think it will be better. But, I don't think it would hurt to go up a little. I've also read that shifting a bit each day helps you lose better as well.

No, its not cheating. You are making a conscious effort, you are counting calories, you are ALLOWED to have days higher than others and days lower. The lower the calories, the faster you will see results (in general, of course too low is another story entirely). Eat your 2000 today, nothing wrong with that at all.
