Thanks so very much for the kind words. I am very proud of myself and where I have come from. It's still a long journey for me. 293 is just starting point goal. Once I hit that, I probably want to lose another 50 or so from there. And that's why I am glad I found this site. The people are so friendly and nice and I already love spending time on here. It's cause of people like you with your nice things to say and your encouragement that will get me and everyone else to their ultimate goal.
Good luck with your weight loss and I hope we can stay in touch.

Thanks everyone. I feel so loved now. I have started telling other people that I work with about this site. I am amazed at how nice everyone has been.

Hi Photoguy! Nice to meet ya! Yeah Charles story is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. You should read all of his posts....whew, what a journey. AND an inspiration too. But it seems to me that you're writing your own success story too eh? Take care!!!

I'd like to think I am writing my own success story, but right now, it's just the first few chapters. I think the final chapters will come when I have been off the diet for a while and have kept the weight off. The unfortunate thing is that cause of all my over-eating and excess weight, this is going to be a long book. (I love the metaphor)
And the irony of the whole thing is that I am not much of a reader.
