Greek yogurt has lots of "bang" for the buck - 1/2 cup of the fat-free yogurt has 10 grams of protein. Mix in a bit of Fiber One cereal, and you have a fiber-rich, protein rich mini-meal or snack.

Also, Martin's whole wheat potato bread has 4 grams of protein per slice. I make French toast with 2 slices and 1/2 cup of egg substitute - very filling!

Gary - I require a good amount of protein in the morning or else I can't think worth moose poop.
Something like a bean and cheese burrito works nicely.

life is too short to eat "breakfast food."

Hey Gary. I know you said you weren't an eggs man, but.....every once in a while, I make a breakfast sandwich using 2 egg whites fried with no oil (just cooking spray) (33 cals), 2 pieces of turkey bacon (40 cals), 1 piece of american or cheddar cheese (86 cals) and 2 slices of high fiber Milton's bread (I think it is multigrain, but it has 5g of fiber per slice). It is deeeelicious and the nutritional values come out to 339 cals, 10g fat, 34g carbs, 10g fiber, 26g protein. You could also pack an apple or some almonds to eat in between your breakfast and 9:00am snack. From what I hear, you should eat every 2-3 hours, so maybe you need a little something.

Does moose poop have protein?

I like to add protein powder to oatmeal myself...you just need to add fruit and a little extra water so it doesn't turn to cement.

Peanut butter on toast works, too.
