Here are the pics. I was just curious on what you guys would think I weighed if you did not know my weight in the last two pictures. My doctor has always told me that I have "heavy bones" so I am wondering if I should start measuring myself rather than relying on the scale. I've asked my friends/family what they think, but im not sure if they are just sugar coating it so I want an honest opinion. Thanks!
January 2006 (Me second from left in black: About 185-190 pounds)
February 2007 (Me second from left in red: About 158 pounds)
March 2007 (Me on the right: About 160-165 pounds)
I think you do look your weight--I'm about your height and weight, and you look pretty much like I do at this point, build-wise. Of course, you are younger--and you are definitely in good shape!! You look great in that red dress, BTW!
I agree with the others you look beautiful and healthy!!! My bet is you read, listen and see everyone talk about the "ideal" female -- and the weight is usually about 120 pounds. Well my girlfriend is the fittest most perfectly shaped person I know (and a perfect size 4) she weighs 140 pounds.
You look absolutely fabulous at 160ish -- if I saw you pic without knowing your weight I would have guessed you in the 140 range -- so its all numbers just revel in a healthy body.
Of course I am the same weight as a linebacker --- which slays me but I am working on it LOL

I can't really tell whether or not you look your weight--you're much shorter than me and I'm not good at guessing weight.
If you're trying to lose weight, then measuring is a good idea, but so is weighing. Weighing is a good way to track your weight loss, and the thing is that you're only comparing your weight to YOUR weight, not to anyone else's. It doesn't matter whether your goal is 120 or 160, and whether that seems 'heavier' than it should. What matters is that you make progress towards your goal, and weighing and measuring, taken together, are an excellent way of charting progress.
I have no idea what a weight is supposed to look like. I know I have been told I look less than my weight, I have also been told I look more than my weight.
I think you look beautiful. See, I wouldnt look that good in the red dress even NOW because I have no waist. My body type is nothing like yours. So why should we expect similar "ideal weights"?
Weight is just a number. There are women on here my height who want to weigh 15 -20 lbs below what I think I would look dead at. You have to look at the whole thing to determine what is right for your body.
I am very poor at guessing other people's weights and dress sizes. All I do know is this - you look really good. I definitely see a difference from the first picture.
Measuring is a good idea. Wishing you continued success.
You look about right for what you say you weighed - but I think measuring is an excellent idea to do along with weighing, because even when you aren't losing pounds you can still be losing inches!! It makes it feel "not so bad" when the scale is stuck on a number, but your measurements are getting smaller anyway
I am 5'2 and I am 164 lbs and i think you look WAY smaller than me, I pretty much look like a hippopotamus compared to you..so i think you are just one of those "dense" poeple who looks way less than they are...enjoy it!!!!
For being 5 foot 2, you do not look to be in the 160s from your pic. My mom and sister are both 5'2" and they would look much larger than you do (hippier) at 160. My sister has 3 children (youngest is less than a year). She has been trying to lose weight since she stopped nursing - I think she's about 150 or so now, but she does look plumper than you do in those pics. I say you ought to measure because some people are denser than others. Keep up the good work, and I agree with the others, don't get too fixated on the # -- pay attention to how you feel and how your clothes fit... I think that is a truer measure!!!!
