Default Clarification?:Why the * in veg*n??
I notice some people here write vegan like this: veg*n. Is there a reason for this?

I may be wrong, but I think it is to encompass both vegans and vegetarians if you are refering to both...

such as: How many veg*n chicks out there like tofu?

At least that is what it means on my vegan board lol

Oh I get it. Thatr makes sense. Thanks. For a while there, I was worried that vegan was considered a bad word that needed to be edited. LOL.
