Is it really *****y and awful to be pleased that only one female celebrity is lighter than me??? If I had been watching this this time last year, no one would have been bigger than me!!! Now there of them are, even Anne Diamond, who dresses soooooooooooo well for her weight, I never would have thought we were similar weights!!!!
I know...I was worried I'd be *****y but I am an aspiring actress so it is good for me to see that their are people bigger than me who make it (also means I should stop blaming my lack of success on my weight!!! :-( )
it's so cool that you guys have celebrity fit club as well! Actually, you probably had it first in the UK, we steal EVERYTHING here in the US, at least TV wise! I love cfc here in america. Just popping by to see what the discussion was!
I love watching these shows now. Before it was "****, I'm bigger than all of them", now I'm lighter than them all - and sometimes I'm even lighter than the "after" weights too (admittedly I've been doing it longer than the shows give them, but still )
But still nothing, you've done it on your own, no teams of doctors, cheerleaders (ok a weird Aussie fat cheerleader on occasions) and no Harvey, just your sweet self and your own motivation. You are worth 100 celebrity fit clubbers, we all are.
yay us! We should be in our own tv series and make Heva a star!
I'm lighter than them all, too. I was surprised as they usually have one person who is only a tiny bit overweight - presumably so they get at least one who ends the series with a normal BMI. (Whasername the TV reviewer woman last year, Thingy Ross and Aldo Zilli all ended up normal weights before the end of it, didn't they? )
Thinking catty thoughts... I'm still wondering why Fern Britton pretends to be size 16 when Ann Diamond (who also used to do a morning magazine TV show, interestingly) who they said tonight was *morbidly obese* looks very very much lighter than her? Although Ann does dress very well, she still is nowhere near the size of Fern. I thought that was rather telling...
Yes, the UK series is the original. In fact, it's a spin off of summat called *Fat Club*, but when they did a Celeb version, they re-named it more flatteringly to *Fit Club* (Or none of them would have joined!) The alternative therapy-hypnotist type woman Marissa, is no longer doing the UK Fit Club but I saw her on cable on the US version.
I was shocked how much bigger Russell Grant looks than I remember him. I hope he succeeds. But Ann is my favourite as I remember her from years ago when we lived in the West Mids - she used to be the local news presenter.

Yes it is. Bad Kykaree. I was so happy that Carole Malone was heavier than Ann Diamond (even though Carole is taller but...) Carole is so nasty in her column. Harvey smilie > It was nice seeing Amy again I love her.
*****y *****y comments ahead. Have you seen Fern Britton in Soapstar Superstar??? I have watched it twice, and twice she has been in black dresses either sleeveless or bodice only, with her shoulders and arms shrouded by scarves. I'm sorry, but what's the point??? Can they not afford to get her dresses made with sleeves??? Is she in serious denial and puts on her LBD (little black dress) only to be captured by ITV's stylist at the last minute and swept up in a cloak??? "You can't go out looking like that, here have this!" Have some integrity.
I know, I know and still she claims to be a size 18...please god don't let her be a size 18...do I really look heavier than her? ;-) Its like McManus, she has done amazingly well losing weight but by no stretch of the imagination is she a size 14 now...
I watched it this morning, I don't think it's as good with stars as real people, most of those on there could afford a personal trainer to get themselves fit!
